We use 304 grade stainless steel in the production of all our seats. It’s ideal for outdoor furniture due to its anti-corrosive qualities and strength, which it gets from the addition of chromium and nickel to its mix.

It’s not an easy metal to work. Its qualities make it unforgiving, requiring specialised craftsmanship. Although a challenging material to work with, we use stainless steel so that there’s no time consuming maintenance needed to keep our seating looking great. It’s a robust and durable material too, making it ideal for outdoor furniture. If desired, they can be stripped and repainted after a period of time, effectively creating brand new seats.

Although incredibly strong, stainless steel still needs careful finishing to get the best from the metal and to protect it from the elements. We use and recommend elecro-polishing and powder coating.

  • Ergonomic

One of our primary aims when developing our seating collection was that each of our pieces should be comfortable.

We spent a lot of time refining the profile of our seats to make them as ergonomic as possible. The close spacing of the tubes on our benches provides added comfort and support for the user.

  • Low Maintenance

Maintaining outdoor seating can be time consuming and expensive. Our seats are designed to be left outdoors throughout the year and require very little maintenance to keep them looking great.
